Introduction

With Jesus the perception of "Father", "Son" and "Holy Spirit" came into the foreground. The problems started already during Jesus' teaching years. We have to be aware that Jesus would communicate with His disciples and His people who overwhelmingly were peasants, herds- and fishermen in easily understandable language.

One should think that Christians today would be mature enough to understand that the three concepts represent the three main qualities of the ONE and ONLY God. Jesus tells us clearly in His New Word that the "Father" means God's limitless love, "Son" primarily stands for God's Word and wisdom, and "Holy Spirit" God's ever present willpower.

All three qualities consisted within God since eternity and are uncreated. The only fact which is new is that since the birth of Jesus, the first Christmas, the center of the infinite Godhead clothed itself with a body of flesh in order to be visible to us. This God-center existed since eternity in the spiritual form of a human body after which He modeled man.

Refusing a Humble Messiah

[GGJ 01/005,13]

Why did the Jews especially the Pharisees and scribes fail to perceive the Messiah, the personified Yahweh, in Jesus? We find the answer in the Great Gospel, v.1:5,13.

Jesus predicts the wrong Dogma of the Trinity

Even among His disciples the subject was unclear. They would not believe that the infinite Godhead as one had imagined, this infinite Jehovah could in all His fullness really have taken residence in Jesus. Therefore one made Jesus the Son of the highest "born" some time ago. This is what Jesus predicted at the time:

"Thus you know that there is only one true God and Creator and still later using false interpretations the stupid people shall make from this one true God three Gods... They shall still talk about one God, but pray to three persons of whom each one will have to be a complete God and has to be adored". [GGJ.04:184,4&6]

The Schisms started with Jesus' Disciples

The beginning of the trinity dogma showed up even with the first disciples. As the Great Gospel tells us when once at table - wine had loosened their tongues and their spirits were high. Conversations and discussions became ever more spirited and different concepts about Jesus came into being. One could say that the first schism happened at this supper. Because everything that came up later within dozens of Christian churches -  with every church having a different Jesus - happened that day.

Jesus Himself reports here.

Prior to Christmas nobody was able to see God.

Moses said: "Nobody can see God and live." From the work "The Spiritual Sun" we learn:

In the first church and the church of Melchisedek (the church of Abraham) the Lord has shown Himself often times in person and taught His saints and children. This, however, never was the Lord in person but every time an angel-spirit filled with everything necessary for the occasion.

Before the incarnation in Jesus (John speaking) "not even the most pure angel spirits were able to see the Godhead the way you see the sun on the firmament. Now listen: It pleased this infinite Being of God - and at a time when men thought the least it would happen - to assemble Himself in His infinite fullness and in this aggregation to adopt the perfect human nature." (SpS 1/84, 6+7, SpS 2/13, 6-8).
