Health and long Life
On this subject the Lord tells us clearly: your health depends on two factors: Your own way of life and the one of your parents, meaning whether God‘s commandments and recommendations are/were observed.
Giving in to sensual pleasure is the death knell for the soul as the Lord explains here.
Consequences of sensual stimulation:
Teaching His disciples in Caesarea Philippi on human nature and knowledge of self, Jesus said:
see, the body is built from the coarsest primal soul elements, and its
indwelling soul is at first not much purer because it also is descended
from the impure primal soul of the fallen Satan. But within the soul
there dwells the pure spirit-spark from God, which gives the soul
through the voice of conscience a true awareness of itself and of the
divine order. Thus equipped, the soul can exercise free
self-determination according to the easily recognizable divine order.
And if it wishes to continue, it must mould itself accordingly, become
capable of continuance and, as it were, improve itself.
the body entices the soul to engage in all kinds of activity for the
sake of its sensual gratification, this always proceeds from the many
impure nature spirits or bound spirits of matter that actually
constitute the nature of the body. If the soul yields too much to these
demands, it descends to its own death and sins against God‘s order. In
order to attain to a self-contained, yet free and eternal existence,
man must by his thirtieth year have so far progressed with his
spiritual development, as to be completely convinced of an independent
after-life following the death of his body (GGJ.02/210, 01on).
Keeping God‘s commandments, living modestly, observing chastity as much as possible and sticking to simple unspoiled food assures health until high age. (See also chapter "Sex")

"As far as yesterday's question of yours is concerned, namely long and heavy illness before the death of the body and more...
